Due to my technical training as a mechanical engineer and polymer technician, the purchase of my first 3D printer 10 years ago was actually only a matter of form. From then on I was fascinated by the endless possibilities of 3D printing and the topic never let me go and also became more and more important for my professional activity. After graduating from university, I worked for 9 years as a product developer and most recently as Head of Center of Competence Materials & 3D Printing of a global mechanical engineering company.

With the foundation of my start-up Ingenieurbüro Dr. Janko GmbH and the start of the web shop for 3D printing models and projects 3d-print-files.com a long-cherished dream has now come true. I always wanted to design and develop products specifically for 3D printing, thereby empowering people around the world to be their own producers.
